Source text - English Since his participation in Dokumenta X in Kassel in l 997, solo shows of Kentridge's work have been shown in many museums and galleries around the worlds starting with the MCA San Diego (1998), and the Museum of Modern Art in New York (1999). In 1 998 a survey exhibition of his work was hosted by the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels continuing to museums in throughout Europe during l 998/1999. 200 l saw the launch of a substantial survey show of Kentridge's work in Washington, traveling thereafter to cities in the US and South Africa. Carolyn Cluistov-Bakargiev curated a new retrospective exhibition of his work for the Castello di Rivoli in Turin in January 2004, which went on to museums in Europe, Canada, Australia and South Africa. 2009 marked the start of a new large touring exhibition, beginning in San Francisco, travelling to museums in Texas, Florida, and MoMA, New York before continuing to Europe.

Source text - English Any pollutants must be disposed of in such a manner that no personal or environmental damage may be caused. Any leakage of hazardous material may also cause harm to the environment. All legal regulations must be observed.
1. To ensure their personal safety, all personnel coming in contact with the Machines must have read the content of these operating instructions. This is the only way to minimize any possible risks.
2. Any use of the Machines for purposes other than the purposes intended by the manufacturer is prohibited. This may result in unforeseeable risks.
3. All applicable local work and safety laws and regulations must be observed at all times. The same holds true for any environmental regulations.
4. The employer must ensure that the operating personnel have been trained sufficiently and that the Machines is used appropriately.
5. Whenever personnel detect any failures or risks, the employer or his/her representative must be notified without delay.
6. The professional skills and the sense of responsibility of both employer and employee contribute in large part to the safe and effective use of the Machines.
7. No safety installations such as covers or safety switches may be removed or bypassed during the normal operation of the Machines.
8. If any retrofitting, maintenance or repair work requires the disassembly of safety installations, these installations must be re-assembled and examined immediately after the completion of such maintenance and repair work.
9. The following fundamental clothing regulations must be observed: no staff member is allowed to wear any loose-fitting and/or baggy clothing. Particular attention must also be paid to neckties, long hair, and jewelry (e.g. rings). These garments present a risk of injury, e.g. by getting caught or drawn in. In addition, all nationally applicable regulations must be observed.
