I'm fine with any option Feb 7, 2008

Hi, I’m more than fine with tapas. I only asked because I have a soft spot for the spiced lamb at Chikito’s and they remember me when I go in there. Then again I’d be planning to spend two or three days in Granada so I could do Chikito’s and a good tapeo. Then if anyone else wanted to join me at Chikito’s they’d be more than welcome. A win, win solution ¿no?

Me parece bien que sea el sábado siguiente (10 de mayo). Y la opción del tapeo, en Granada, genial!!!

Yo también me apunto a la idea del tapeo, más informal. Y el 10 de mayo me parece una buena fecha. En esta época, ya hará buen tiempo, con lo cual podemos buscar alguna terraza por el Albaicín, el Realejo o el Paseo de los Tristes. ¿Qué os parece?

Una semana después está muy bien para mí. Además, así evitamos la lluvia que siempre cae en Cruces (hi, hi). Una sugerencia: En el Campo del Príncipe no me parece que haya buenas tapas (con excepciones) y en el P. de los Tristes hicimos un Powwow hace dos años. QUé tal si vamos a un bar en el Albaicín como p.ej. La Higuera o (con más nivel) El Trillo? Encontraremos algo.

Forgive me for being easily confused, but are people thinking of a sit-down meal of tapas, or of going from one tapas bar to another?

By way of explanation to my question, not all restaurants can or will join tables together for groups. Accordingly, sitting down at one restaurant all evening may mean meeting only two or three people sharing the same table. Even if the tables are joined, it may not always be practical to talk to more than half those present.

I was thinking of "circulating" tapas, first because (as far as I remember from my two years in Granada) that's the typical way, and two, it's easier to get an opportunity to speak to everyone. It's true that when you are sitting down you can only talk to the people next to you.

¿Podríamos cambiar la fecha definitivamente para el día 10? Lo dejo en manos de Kate Major, quien es la organizadora de este powwow. Necesito saberlo para reservar billete y hotel...

¿Y si quedamos en Plaza Nueva primero, a las 2, o a la hora que os parezca bien, y después podemos ir al Campo de Príncipe o el Albaizín, lo que decidamos en plan voto democrático? Es que me parece un sitio céntrico y fácil de encontrar, venga de donde vengas. ¿Qué os parece?
