I am unable to import a large 75000+ segment tmx file (generated with Trados 5.5) into DejaVu X. When I use the import wizard, it doesn\'t show me any language code in the relevant column. However, if I try with a smaller file and the same language pair (EN-UK > IT), everything works, any idea how to solve this?

Language codes Sep 19, 2003

Hi,

Make sure the person who exported the memory from Trados 5.5 has defined the language codes properly. If not, you won\'t be able to import into DV. You can easily check this by opening the TM file in notepad and look for the two-letter codes.

language codes are ok Sep 19, 2003

thanks, I opened the files in Word and found that language codes are OK. I split the memory file by dates and found that strangely I can import some portions of it and not others, I "isolated" a 5000 segment tmx file which cannot be imported into DejaVu X. Anyone wishing to try and import it into their own program?
any help will be appreciated
