Number of words (translation): 300 – 350 per hour / 2,000 – 2,500 per day

Number of words (proofreading): 4,000 – 5,000 per day

Holds a Master's Degree in Translation Studies and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL, or MIL), as well as an associate of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting. Translates from English into French. Possesses extensive linguistic and cultural knowledge of the source language and the ability to write fluently in the target language. Uses computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools when indicated, mainly SDL Trados Studio 2015 and SDL Trados Studio 2017, as well as Wordfast Pro, but I sometimes use web-based CAT tools, such as WordBee and Crowdin, if required.
