I don’t think so. I just think it’s an awful turn of phase, whose literal translation is equally as awful. I think the best solution is Phil's (please post you suggestion Phil) "for as many calendar days as the force majeure lasts", which will need rewording slightly as it applies to several events, not just force majeure, so something like “shall be suspended for as many calendar days as any of the following events, among others, may last:”

calendar day is (obviously) the date on the calendar as opposed to counting in terms of business/working days/holidays/weekends. So, from 8 - 15 (or whatever dates) inclusive. It doesn't mean "at any moment" here. Are you overthinking this?

Philgoddard, yes, this expression means exactly that: "for as many calendar days as the force majeure lasts". "Calendar days" is used in LatAm Spanish agreements to indicate specific periods of time for different events, obligations, or requirements, etc., from any given (calendar) day to any other (calendar) day.

Indeed, and in spite of having been enlightened as to what "calendar day" means, I still don't understand the turn of phrase in which that term is used. One dictionary I have has "de día a día" as "at any moment" but not sure that fits here.

The literal translation is pretty clear, but I'm not sure what it means. It could be "for as many calendar days as the force majeure lasts", but why would they need to say that, rather than "for as long as the force majeure lasts"?
