Fisheries / fishing

This is all the context I have. It's a caption for a photo.

I can't find casayeur in any dictionary, but I think it's a small boat used for fishing crustacea. Can anyone (1) correct me if I'm wrong, (2) suggest what it might be called in English? TIA

Explanation:
I do believe there is a typo in your source text:

or: caseyeur n. m.

No wonder there weren\'t many hits with casayeur - the correct spelling appears to be \'CASEYEUR\' - I imagine it comes from \'casier\' - lobster pot.

crabber or crabber boat or dinghy

Explanation:
other possibilities

crabber boat or lobster boat - but this is more specialized that the French name

crabber is the name of boat but also name of fisherman

Trawlers are not the only Bigouden fishing boats however. One can see more and more small ships, which go fishing during half a day, and lay fixed nets and pots (i.e. traps for shellfish - you can see such pots on this picture, on the left side), which are located by personalized buoys or pennants. In the morning for example, the fisherman puts out to sea in order to collect the pots and the nets which were laid the previous evening, and to lay new ones for this evening. These small boats are called dinghies or, in a more familiar way, touc-touc, because of the characteristic noise of their diesel engines.
