conspiracy
Konspirasjon

Explanation:
Most Norwegians today would use "Konspirasjon", "Konspirasjonen(e)", "KOnspirere".
"Sammensvergelse" is growing continually more Archaic actually demanding that an oath is made by the conspirators.
In Norwegian nynorsk you can also use "samanding", which is a true translation of "conspiracy" from Latin "Con Spiratio" meaning "To breath together".

sammensvergelse

Explanation:
Konspirasjon is usually used for conspiracy theories. So Sammensvergelse would fit better for a normal/legal setting.
