Huge PDF & Studio 2017 (И на русском тоже)

Hello!
I have a pdf-file of 1100 pages, which was exported from .xls-file
1) I can't use directly a pdf -file because when I export translated pdf it becomes corrupted - why?(((
2) How can I split such a huge document?

Your default PDF viewer may be able to split PDF:s.

Otherwise, Adobe Acrobat Pro can do it, and lots of other tools.

Because you cannot export as PDF: Studio does not export files in PDF format. You can export as Word DOC and create a PDF afterwards (however, 99% outsourcers would prefer a translated DOC instead).

XLS in - XLS out Mar 10, 2020

If you import an XLS file you will be able to get the target XLS.

Well, I uploaded PDF files many, many times to Trados, unless of course they are editable PDFs. If they are PDFs made from e.g. scans, you would need an OCR machine, and the result is not guaranteed anyways.

PDF file you can split using some free PDF file splitters (just ask uncle Google! E.g. https://www.ilovepdf.com/split_pdf). If it does not crash during upload because it is a non-edi... See more

PDF file you can split using some free PDF file splitters (just ask uncle Google! E.g. https://www.ilovepdf.com/split_pdf). If it does not crash during upload because it is a non-editable PDF file, than it crashes because you have not enough memory on your computer (I guess) to handle such a big file.

Anyway, if the customer can provide Excel it would be much better for you.
