Dear members,

There is a new section at ProZ.com, called Freelancer success stories. You can find it under the Member activities menu at the top of the site:

The success stories section is a showcase for stories from freelance translators and interpreters about how they got started, challenges they have faced, the successes they've had, and their predictions for the future. Hopefully these stories will:

  1. inspire others to take that next step in their career,
  2. allow readers to learn from the experiences of people who have been in the game for a while, and
  3. provide a view of what other professionals are saying and doing about the future of the industry.

Any paying ProZ.com member can share their own success story if they wish (look for the "Submit your own success story" option at the bottom of the pages). Stories which are published may be featured in the ProZ.com newsletter and blog, and in other areas of the site.
