Two days ago, in 1956, died Evelyn Beatrice Hall, most famous for the phrase: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it", often considered synonymous with the principle of freedom of speech.
Let's just hope that liberal and enlightened sentiment didn't die with her...
