Please complete your projects and update CafeTran to the latest 2019 version. Then check it with your glossary again. If the apostrophe issue still persists, submit a support ticket at CafeTran's support site.

I'll complete all current projects this weeks before updating to the latest version of Cafetran.
As soon as this is done, I'll let you know how it works.

Thanks again for your great help!
I installed the spellchecker for French (which was actually missing) and this seems to help. The result is not 100%, though, and I'll follow Igor's advice as soon as I have finished my currents projects. If I remember rightly, I should not update when still working on a project.
I will give you an update as soon as the new version is installed.

New version (Croissant) Feb 10, 2019

I just wanted to let you know that I now installed the latest version of Cafetran and my problem regardings words with apostrophe seems to be mostly solved. There still are some instances where the glossary does not show up if the word in question has an apostrophe, but in most cases it works. (I can't see a pattern when it doesn't work ...)

Dear all,
Unfortunately problem regarding words with apostrophe in the glossary / memory is still not solved.
Any ideas how to enter French words with apostrophe into the glossary so that they show up?
