Character combination prevents Alt+DownArrow from working

It happens in the Ichiro build. If text in the translation box contains "\:" at the end, you will not move forward. Tested on a few cases.
Edit: The combination I mentioned must actually be preceded with an uppercase letter and the same combination must originally be in the source.

I take it that you don't get a warning about missing tags? (Because perhaps CafeTran interprets the string as a tag.)
I cannot replicate your findings with segments like these:

No I did not get a warning. But I figured out the cause, because when I deleted the backslash, I was able to move forward.
