We were 13 people, finally, at a long table, which meant that those at the extremes weren't able to talk at all. Next time we should try to be in a more mobile environment! (and take photos.)
But that was the only negative aspect. Conversation never stalled, we were all talking at the same time, loudly!, and it was all so interesting that sometimes I didn't know which side of the table to listen to! There was so much to say that I feel a but frustrated about all that I didn't get to hear, but I hope that there will be a next time. Noel suggested we meet up from time to time for Saturday breakfast, an idea that was welcomed by several people, since most live in the Ixl area.
I was very happy that everyone enjoyed the restaurant, Orlando's exceptional character (he was nice that evening!!!), and all the food and wine.
Thank you all for coming! There were many others who wished to come but couldn't make it -- so we'll just have to organise another pow-wow for them, soon. Hah hah!
