This video is associated with the "How to align your legacy translations in order to obtain a Translation Memory for future use" training course.

Purchasing this video will also enroll you for that training course (at no charge), and the course will therefore appear in your ProZ.com training My courses page.

After attending this course you will be able to create your own TMs starting from documents you have already translated in the past without the use of a CAT TOOL. This process is called "Alignment" because it tries to align every single sentence of the Source Document "A" with its related translated sentences in Target Document "B". At the end of this procedure you will get a fully operational TM which can be used for your future translations. During the course up to 4 methods will be shown in order toenable you to achieve this goal.
