Searching for a term/phrase

1. Enter a term or phrase.
2. Select source and target language.
   (Note: The list of available engines will adapt automatically.)
3. Select engines
4. Click the button "Search"

Saving the search settings

Platinum members can save the search settings for each language pair by clicking the button Save settings. The last settings saved are treated as the standard settings, that is, next time when you open this page the last settings saved will be shown.

To save the search settings:

1. Select the engines and make all other settings, according to your preferences.
2. Click the button Save settings

Options

• Checkbox Bidirectional:
  If this checkbox is checked, the term entered is not only searched according to the defined language pair, but also according to the reverse language direction. In the results tabs the results of the reverse search are indicated by "(rev.)" behind the engine name.

• Listbox Dictionaries:
  This listbox lists all available dictionaries for the selected language pair.
  To select/deselect a dictionary, press "Ctrl" on the keyboard and click a dictionary item in the list.

• Listbox Machine translation:
  This listbox lists all available machine translation engines for the selected language pair.
  To select/deselect a machine translation engine, press "Ctrl" on the keyboard and click a dictionary item in the list.

• Listbox Search engines:
  This listbox lists important Internet search engines.
  To select/deselect a search engine, press "Ctrl" on the keyboard and click a dictionary item in the list.
  If the checkbox Restrict to languages is checked, the search will be restricted to the source language (if the selected search engines support this features), and, if the checkbox "Bidirectional" is active, a bidirectional search will be performed.
