I am a professional English-Spanish translator with a Bachelors degree in Scientific, Technical and Literary Translation and over 5 years of experience as both an in-house and freelance translator specializing in business, auditing, financial and legal translation.

In addition to my freelance work, I currently work as an in-house translator at global accounting firm Ernst & Young. I translate, from English into Spanish and Spanish into English, texts on topics such as business, auditing, accounting, finance, tax issues, human resources, risk management, marketing and IT, in-house training materials and business correspondence, among others.

Before joining Ernst & Young, I worked as a telephone interpreter at Teleinterpreters, where I performed consecutive EN-SP interpretations during phone calls between Americans and non-English speakers for companies operating in areas such as healthcare (visits to the doctors, healthcare information hotlines, HMOs), banking and finance, insurance (auto, life, health insurance), customer care, tech support and troubleshooting services, among others, as well as for some US government agencies.

As part of my BA in Translation, I translated two short stories (“Barbados", by Paule Marshall, and “Look Out”, by Roger Mais) from English into Spanish for the Faculty of Literature and Linguistics at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
