Background:
I am a Turk that has been residing in Indiana for 21 years and prefer to do Turkish/Azerbaijani/Turkmen into English. I will do into Turkish/Azerbaijani/Turkmen, but will refrain from doing complicated texts into these languages. I received most of my education in English when I lived in Turkey. I primarily work as a Computer Programmer. I am also an adjunct instructor for the University of Phoenix and teach classes in the Social Sciences.
Areas of Work:
I have 13 Years+ in the IT industry and a Masters in Sociology and have been translating and interpreting for about 3 years in a wide variety of areas:
* Translated a series of Web pages from Turkish to English For a Turkish Movie.
* Translated and edited engineering Pipeline documentation from Turkish to English.
* Extensive experience translating/proofreading multiple Railway and Subway Tender related documents from Turkish to English.
* Translated and edited Compaq computer Press Releases from Turkish to English.
* Translated and edited Birth, Divorce and Family Documents for Turkish Consulates in various countries across the world from Turkish to English.
* Have translated a number of complex Legal and Medical Documents mainly from Turkish to English, but I have done a few from English to Turkish also.
* Can get translation sworn by a notary if needed in the United States.
* Translated various personal letters from English to Turkish and vice versa.
* Translated various Official Documents from Azerbaijani Turkish (Azeri) to English.
* Have proofread English documents as a native English Speaker for various clients. I can do this in either US or UK style depending on the target audience.
* Provided interpreting from Turkish to English and vice versa for various agencies with American hospitals as clients.
Rates negotiable 'per job' basis, depending on volume and special requirements. I accept paypal,moneybookers,bank transfer and Western Union.
