My name is Jiun Youn. I have Dutch nationality, but I was born and raised in Korea.
I finished my tertiary education in Holland, however, and did my internship in Germany.

I have a BA in psychology and medical science and MA and PhD in pharmacology. My translation jobs have been mostly on academic materials on a casual basis for the scientists who directly contacted me to translate their papers or survey materials, but I am hoping to do more translation work in other fields as well.

I traveled widely and worked in several different countries in various positions. I pride myself on my capacity to understand and love different cultures.

Since I work as a laboratory scientist, the deadline will always need to be negotiated carefully in advance, but once I accept a job, I will deliver my work in a timely and precise manner.

Although my expertise is obviously medical/pharmacology field, I am willing to translate other fields as well. If you send me a file of sample text, I will reply within 2 working days on my availability. I am also willing to offer up to 500 words of free translation.
