Only a few weeks ago have I found out that Alp Berker, the colleague who had organized the last few Powwows in Istanbul, very sadly has died last year.
To come together again and at the same time to remember Alp, I suggest this Powwow.
Sorry for writing in English, my Turkish is still shaky. But feel free to reply in Turkish.
I am an English to German translator and have been living in Istanbul for almost three years now.
The date I have chosen is up for discussion. I just had to chose one, otherwise it's not possible to start a Powwow invitation.
It's great to see that so many colleagues want to meet up.
I would like to suggest that we meet at the same place as two years ago. The Cafe Nero in Caddebostan (it is Caddebostan, right?). Where did you meet last year? I did not attend then ...

für Teinehmer wie ich, die nicht in Istanbul wohnen und weit herreisen werden, sind genaue Angaben über Ort und Zeit der Versammlung vermutlich wichtig. Deshalb möchte ich dich bitten, einen Vorschlag dazu zu machen, um zu sehen, wie die teilnehmenden Kollegen darauf reagieren und/oder andere Vorschläge unterbreiten.
Ich persönlich werde aus Izmir mit einem Fliger kommen und muss in der selben Nacht zurück fliegen.
