Explanation:
...or calculation. I understand that once a property has been purchased in Spain and the deeds have been registered it becomes possible to calculate and make payment of the capital gains tax due. "presentar a" would give the idea of "submitting for"

disagree  AllegroTrans: there is no such word as "proove" and even if it should be "proof" I fail to see what the phrase means// "prove" is a noun??

  -> Don't be petty my friend. The word is prove

disagree  philgoddard: He's not being petty. Poor spelling aside, your answer bears no resemblance to the Spanish.

neutral  Neil Ashby: Wouldn't settlement be for a private legal case, rather than a simple payment of outstanding taxes? And generally speaking we don't "offer" to pay taxes - we are required to pay them.

filing/documentation of payment finalization

Explanation:
in this case, presentación seems to refer to filing or putting something on record and liquidation is finalization of payment (technically the moment the ownership rights actually transfer, but since this is about a tax I guess just payment will do), check the links below for context

but plazo de liquidación is the time to make the payment...ending in the responsibilities in case of failure to pay and document the closure of the payment (the difference between payment and "liquidación" seems to be that "liquidación" is the actual finalizing of the process as opposed to making the payment if that makes sense, see first example sentence (www.bcba.sba.com.ar/invertir/liquidacion.php)

http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/agenciatributariadeandalucia/...

Example sentence(s):
  • La liquidación es el último paso de toda operación bursátil: es el momento en que los títulos objeto de la transacción son transferidos a la cuenta del comprador

I don't know whether this is relevant, or whether the correct answer was chosen, but the context is similar.

Speaking of context, we could do with some more - this is just a fragment of a sentence.
