Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Title for a Patent
Spanish term or phrase: "terraplén de tierra"
I am not sure how to translate this phrase. Actually the entire phrase is "terraplén de tierra asociado". Here is the context:

METODO PARA EVITAR LA EROSION DE UN TERRAPLEN DE TIERRA ASOCIADO QUE COMPRENDE CREAR UNA MEZCLA DE UN FLUIDO SINTETICO, UN AGLUTINANTE Y FIBRAS SINTETICAS, COMBINAR LA MEZCLA CON MATERIAL DE GRANO FINO, APLICAR AL MENOS UNA CAPA DE MATERIAL DE GRANO FINO Y MEZCLA AL TERRAPLEN, Y COMPACTARLA AL MENOS UNA CAPA DE MATERIAL FINO Y MEZCLA.

and another instance which is referring to the same patent:

"Método para evitar la erosión de un terraplén inclinado de tierra asociado que comprende crear una mezcla de fluido sintético, aglutinante y fibras sintéticas, combinarla con material de grano fino, aplicar al menos una capa de la mezcla de material de grano al terraplén y compactar al menos una capa de material fino y mezcla"

I am translating a Notification of the Ruling of the Expert Examination for a patent. Therefore, there is not much context about the content of the patent itself, but I would like to be able to accurately translate this phrase.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Laura
