(b/s). Zazwyczaj łącza stałe są szerokopasmowe, ale przymiotnik (łącze) stałe stoi w opozycji do (łącza) komutowanego. Stąd nie zgadzam się z częściowo tylko trafną odpowiedzią.
DarekS: 17:38 Aug 29, 2006: Connections are either 'switched' (łącze komutowane) or 'permanent' (łacze stałe). A switched connection requires that your equipment dial and negotiate an Internet connection.

-> prawda, ale jesliby mialo byc bardziej szczegolowo sama fraza by tego wymagala-tak mi sie wydaje. W Irlandii mowi sie tylko broadband - mam na mysli wyrazenie codzienne, znane ogolowi, nie fachowcom. Widoczne to jest w na przykald w reklamie
