Italian term or phrase: % su tot.
This is from a company's management report. It comes under the reclassified balance sheet. I have no more context.

It may seem obvious to the seasoned translator of financial reports but I'm not very familiar with them myself, so any help in translating it - especially 'su' - would be greatly appreciated. TIA

agree  James (Jim) Davis: Hi Patrick - I hate the way this is abbreviated. "Percentage of total" would be better but probably would not fit in the box. Just % would probably do since percentages are by definition a percentage of a total 100%.

-> Yes, I guess it depends if it's on a column or a row. Personally for a row I would probably put "% of total" as I'm sure the extra "al" isn't going to create huge problems and it's super clear. For a column "%" would probably be sufficient.
