Vicky, my omission on the jeans -- but "boy cut" is a term largely reserved for bottom wear, and although it's sometimes used for tops, it's got a hyper-trendy, alternative connotation in usage for tops that the translator may or may not want to employ here. "Straight fit" is a more standard term that easily encompasses all clothing items. I acknowledge your vast translation experience, while assuming that alternate perspectives are not unwelcome. (Plus I have been sewing for 20 years.)
