French term or phrase: péricarde sec
This is in the results of an echocardiography:
"Péricarde sec" (this is the whole sentence).

No hits on the Google for "dry pericardium", so I guess this isn't right.

Does anyone know what this is in English please?

Many thanks

normal pericardium
Explanation:
Actually, I should not be guessing, I know, but my guess would be: a normal pericardium i.e. that shows no sign of 'effusion' or even 'malignant effusion'. Since a pericardium with no effusion could be said to be 'dry' that would explain the French expression

neutral  EgonWegh: Hence, it proved to be a 'normal pericardium', right? ;-)). BTW, I'm no doctor myself, but Wikipedia says there should at least be some 'serous fluid' somewhere inside the pericardium: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pericardium
