French term or phrase: origine de la société
Hi all -

I am translating an Kbis extract. One of the set fields is:
"Origine de la société"

I am not sure how to render this appropriately in English; especially given what appears under this heading:
Transfert du siège et de l'établissement principal
11 RUE DU BOULOGNE 75015 PARIS
à compter du 11 Janvier 1995
ancien numéro R.C.S. 0001Q333

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Origine de la société
Origin of the company

Explanation:
This is from an example extrait RCS (Kbis):

"Renseignements relatifs à l'activité commerciale
Origine de la société : CETTE SOCIETE SE CONSTITUE
Origine du fonds : CREATION D'UN FONDS DE COMMERCE
Activité : TOUTES ETUDES INFORMATIQUES
Adresse du Principal Etablissement : 36 AVE LEONID 75014 PARIS
Numéro SIRET 987 456 321
Début d'exploitation le 10 avril 2001
Mode d'exploitation : EXPLOITATION DIRECTE"

It should refer to where the (newly) (re)registered company is coming from: is it new, is it a transfer, or ...?
