transversal use


Explanation:
Transversal is fairly established usage in English, so why not retain it. (Could not believe it has 2,000,000 hits in English.) I prefer to retain such flavour in my translations as I believe that many words are borrowed from each other (language) liberally. Of course, if I felt that the word is crucial and will not be understood by the audience, I would tend to explain it with some other words. I am a Technical Writer (English) turned Technical Translator (French to English), maybe that is the reason.
