English term or phrase:cut off any irregular electricity shock
W instrukcji obsługi zgrzewarki próżniowej, w części dotyczącej bezpieczeństwa.
In case of emergency, please pull off the power plug. Basically, circuit protection fuses are installed to cut off any irregular electricity shock. Nevertheless, if there is any emergency such as breaking out of a fire on the Teflon tape, pull off the power plug.
Tekst trochę śmieszny, trochę straszny. Kluczowym elementem zgrzewarki jest listwa z elementem grzejnym. Na element grzejny jest podawany impuls (prąd). Źle dobrany impuls (lub uszkodzony element grzejny) spowoduje przecięcie folii lub nawet zapalenie taśmy. Teflonowa taśma zapobiega przyleganiu folii do maszyny.
In general, fuses are rather primitive devices that simply burn when overloaded. It would be good to know if actual fuses are used here or something resettable, like circuit breakers or a surge protector.
Imo there are fuses/circuit breakers (''are installed'' = ''the device is fitted with'') but this bit suggests unplugging the device just in case (''nevertheless'') if something untoward (e.g. the thing catches fire) happens.
The text is written in improper English. Notice the use "pull off" rather than "pull out" Next, if there are "any irregular electricity shocks," there must also be "some regular electricity shocks." (BTW, it should be electric shocks.) Well, there isn't such thing as some regular shocks. I assume that the shocks are really "current/voltage" spikes." Also, notice the possibility of plural "shocks" that is implicit in the word "any." It is not clear whether this is a real fuse or a circuit breaker or some other cut-off device, so we must give some leeway here and not paint ourselves into a corner. We are translating a technically inexact text.
