I think they refer to reciprocity of behavior and have simply used the wrong word. They probably mean wederkerig gedrag.

Al lezend zal de lezer misschien het gevoel bekruipen dat de inhoud van die hoofdstukken voor zichzelf spreekt. In principe is dat ook zo. In de praktijk, tijdens lesobservaties, blijkt echter dat het voor docenten niet altijd makkelijk is in de relaties met jongeren in schoolse situaties reversibel (omkeerbaar) gedrag aan de dag te leggen. Het gaat er daarbij natuurlijk niet om dat docenten de regiefunctie in de klas niet langer zouden mogen behartigen. Waar het wel om gaat is dat het moet gebeuren op een manier dat leerlingen in hun waarde gelaten worden.
