37.2.4 El Tribunal tendrá el carácter de amigable componedor, con la facultad de establecer las normas de procedimiento a que se sujetará su actuación, que incluirán – si así lo solicitara cualquiera de las PARTES – testimonios orales y confrontaciones en el lenguaje nativo de los testigos. Las resoluciones del Tribunal Arbitral serán adoptadas por una mayoría de dos votos conformes y el laudo – escrito y motivado – será obligatorio y definitivo, sin que proceda acción o recurso alguno contra él, excepto los previstos en la ley peruana para arbitrajes.
37.2.5 La sede del Tribunal Arbitral será Lima u otro lugar en el Perú a su elección.
37.2.6 El procedimiento de arbitraje estará supletoriamente regido por el Título V de la Sección Segunda del Código de Procedimientos Civiles del Perú.
37.2.7 Los honorarios y gastos de los árbitros, así como los costos del procedimiento arbitral, serán de cuenta de ambas partes en igual proporción.
37.2.8 En caso de que alguna de las PARTES deje de cumplir algún acto indispensable para la realización del arbitraje, la otra parte remediará el incumplimiento mediante las normas referidas en el inciso 37.2.6.

37.2.4 The role of the Arbitration Tribunal shall be that of a mediator, with the power to establish the procedural rules that shall regulate its proceedings, including, if so requested by either of the PARTIES, oral testimony and challenges in the native language of the witnesses. Decisions by the Arbitration Tribunal shall be rendered according to a majority of two concurring votes. The award, in writing and well-reasoned, shall be binding and final, allowing for no action or appeal against it, except those actions or appeals that are provided for by Peruvian arbitration law.
37.2. 5 The Arbitration Tribunal shall sit in Lima, or in another location in Peru of its choosing.
37.2.6 The arbitration procedures shall also be regulated by Title V of the 2nd Section of the Rules of Civil Procedure of Peru.
37.2.7 The arbitrators' fees and expenses, as well as the costs associated with the arbitration procedures, shall be divided equally between the parties.
37.2.8 Should one of the PARTIES fail to perform any act that is essential in order for the arbitration to be carried out, the other party shall remedy this non-performance by the rules that are referred to in subsection 37.2.6.

I am from Canada, but have lived abroad for the past twelve years (Mexico, Switzerland and the Bahamas). My mother tongue is English. Before studying translation online through NYU, I studied economics at university and completed an MBA. I have completed two certificate programs in Spanish to English and German to English translation (all twelve courses completed with a grade of "A"). Within the business field, I have worked in the areas of sales, marketing, and project management. Working as a marketing coordinator for an accident research division of an insurance company has also provided me with a background in road and vehicle safety. I have also worked abroad as an English teacher and count sport and fitness as one of my greatest interests. This diverse background means that I have experience in varying fields and also that I am not afraid to tackle new challenges.
