Since it sounded weird to me ( poor grammar, and a suspected email address - sandraw120031@gmail.com), I made a quick research on the Web and on Proz, and I have found out that this kind of scam was on the net last year with male names. So, I kindly advise you to be aware if you received something similar.

Funny she was able to find your profile while "browsing through the profiles on www.proz.com", but she was not able to identify your target language while browsing through your profile

Her request of the translation being done from English into...? (her lack of knowledge of the target language ) implies that she is a native English speaker. = Oh, really?
Based on this, she is the most ineloquent writer I've come across.
Again, a gmail address is not a guaranty for a scammer, but looking at the whole picture, in this case it definitely is.
A scammer's under-estimation of our intelligence clearly reflects their own.

Scammers should not be underestimated. They make millions. Every week we get reports of one or more colleagues that fell prey of their activities. Fresh freelancers, people desperate for a job, there are always people who are more vulnerable. Besides, the learning of translation does not, in general, include risk management. This is why this forum and other tools attempt to filling this gap, to making people aware of the risks and menaces awaiting for them in cyberspace.
