In fact, I probably only have a few regular clients who have never had to accept an increase and I can't think of a client that stopped working with me because of an increase (although there surely have been some). And this has nothing to do with inflation or the cost of living or employee's salary scales or anything else except for the fact that a given freelancer has more work than time and enough sense (and savings) to demand higher rates - along with a given client with enough sense to accept them (instead of setting out into a minefield to save a little money). I'm not encouraging anyone to be foolhardy, but it's essential to at least work towards putting yourself in a position where you can afford to take some risks. ▲ Collapse | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » What's 1 Marketing Tip or Strategy that's worked for YOU in 2015?
